Pastor E. A. Adeboye,the General Overseer of the Redeem Christian Church of Of God.Pastor Adeboye today marks his 53rd wedding anniversary in a low key.Pastor E. A. Adeboye got married to Mrs(Pastor) Foluke Adeboye on the 8th of September, 1967.And today being the 8th of September,makes it 53 years in their marriage. 

People from within and outside Nigeria joined them to celebrate their wedding anniversary,and brought gifts for them. 

Pastor E. A. Adeboye used his official Facebook and twitter handles to appreciate and prayed for those that celebrated with them and brought gifts on the occasion of their marriage anniversary. "I really appreciate all the wishes and gifts sent across today to celebrate the 53rd wedding anniversary of me and my wife @pastorfoluadeboye.You will live long and your marriages will be filled with joy as well in Jesus name".

JUST IN: ASUU CALLS OFF SIX MONTHS OLD STRIKE. The strike is finally over! As widely expected, the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) yesterday called off its almost six months-old strike after exhaustive deliberations during its National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting held at the Federal University of Technology (FUT), Minna, the Niger State capital. A source at the Presidency in Abuja said government had been made aware of the happy development. Since Christmas is already on the way, we believe most schools may wait till January before resuming. The Minna meeting was called to ratify the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed last Wednesday between the ASUU leadership and the Federal Government.
