It's not an easy task to become successful in the entertainment industry, and when some people succeed and begin to enjoy the benefits that come with it, it's pretty hard to give it all up for something else. 


But when God calls some celebrities to give up anything else to answer God's call. Some Nollywood celebrities left their careers acting to become pastors and gospel ministers.



In this article we will be remembering a Nigerian Actor who left acting to become a pastor and recently a lawyer as well.



Anayo Modestus Onyekwere is a Nigerian actor. In 2006 he won the African Movie Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role.


In 1992, Kanayo made his debut movie appearance in the film Living in Bondage. Kanayo has starred in over 100 films.


Kanayo O Kanayo is currently married to Nneka Onyekwere and the couples are blessed with two beautiful kids namely Uloaku and Einstein Onyekwere.


Kanayo is now a graduate of law from the University of Abuja. Kanayo O. Kanayo has joined thousands of graduates of the University Of Abuja in this year's convocation as he graduates with a degree in Law.


The Veteran Nollywood actor has also become a man of God and a deliverance minister to be specific. He was one of the guest ministers, at a crusade held at the Christ Mission Worldwide (CMW) a.ka. Mission for Heaven, with the theme: “Powers of darkness cannot stop me”.


Kanayo joins acting veterans like Liz Benson and Eucharia Anunobi, who have also heeded the call of God.

As widely expected, the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) yesterday called off its almost six months-old strike after exhaustive deliberations during its National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting held at the Federal University of Technology (FUT), Minna, the Niger State capital. It's really a sad news that the world lost another star in this year 2028, the Black Panther Star Chadwick Boseman died of colon cancer on the 28th of August, 2020 , he has been battling with this disease for 4 years and even acted blockbuster movies with it.
